Description:
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to help support the mission and goals of our graduate program.
Responsibilities: The MPA Graduate Assistant will provide support through:
- Various clerical duties
- Communications
- Development of marketing materials
- Recruitment events
- Overseeing and maintaining the MPA website and social media
- Helping to plan events
- Taking minutes during meetings
- Other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Current student with minimum 3.7 GPA (preference will be given to graduate; MPA students)
- Organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects at the same time
- History of dependability, reliability, and initiative
- Ability to effectively complete projects and work independently
- Demonstrate computer knowledge in office software applications
- Interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse group of constituents
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and organizations across campus
